This piece represents an exploration of colour and movement that feels both energetic and organic. The vibrant magenta and purple tones flow across the canvas with an intensity that's impossible to ignore, whilst the softer pinks and gold create moments of calm within all that energy.

I've poured and manipulated the paint to create these flowing forms that seem to grow and expand outward from the centre. There's something almost natural about how the colours blend and separate—like watching petals unfurl or clouds shift across the sky.

Working in pure abstraction allows me to focus entirely on how paint behaves when you let it move freely across the canvas. The drips, the pooling of colour, the way different pigments interact—these aren't accidents, they're part of a conversation between me and the materials.

What I learn from these abstract explorations feeds directly back into my landscape work. The same fluid mark-making that creates this piece is what gives life and movement to a wave or captures the drama of changing light over the sea.
