This is Traigh Beach, the view is of Rùm and Eigg in the West Coast of Scotland. In the summer of 2018 the west coast of Scotland looked more like the Caribbean than Scotland. The sea was crystal clear and the sun was so bright I had to capture that sense of heat and sunshine glare! I hope this painting gives a more movable scene. I want the painting to look like it’s moving, and you are moving with the light on the water too.
