This year, 164 artists are opening up across 116 venues, divided into six distinct trails to help you plan your visits. The range of work on show is extraordinary — from metalwork to digital, ceramics to found objects, and everything in between.

Why The Open Studios Are Important To Foster Creativity In Young People
As an artist with over 25 years of experience, I believe that the Chichester Open Studios art trail offers an invaluable opportunity for children and teenagers to discover the world of art. Unfortunately, art is often taught in schools in a very prescriptive way that limits creativity and discourages exploration. That's why I think art trails are so important - they show young people that art is all about possibilities.
