Looking out across Holkham at low tide, I worked to capture that fleeting moment where light and texture met on the vast beach.

My marks in the sand were deliberately bold and rhythmic, building layers that echoed the tide's natural patterns.

The bright turquoise pools caught and held the eye, contrasting with the earthier tones I used for the beach, while above, the sky's gentle yellows and greys created that distinctive Norfolk light.
