As I stood at Holkham that blustery day, the energy of the scene had to be captured - waves rolling in with deep indigo crests against the pearl-grey beach, while above, clouds raced across a brilliant blue sky touched with hints of yellow light.

The dark headland provided anchor to the wild scene, its solid presence contrasting with the movement of sea and sky.
